Grief Times Two: Second Teenager In The Emerald Isle Drowning Has Passed.

This Summer has just started, but yet there have been so many drownings. Teenagers Tyreese Worsley  and Elijah Hinnant were out at Emerald Isle taking a quick dip in the water when a current came and swept them away. Elijah’s body was recovered by some vacationers a few days later, but Tyreese’s was rescued instantly and taken to Vidant Medical Center. Today we received word that the 16 year old passed away early this morning.

Let’s rewind back to Tuesday June 13th when the body of 17 year old Elijah was found.

No life guard on duty? Why wouldn’t there be lifeguards on duties? If there aren’t people to patrol the ocean’s activities, then no one should be permitted to swim at that time.

Unfortunately Elijah succumbed to the attack he received from the deadly waters of Emerald Isle.

On behalf of myself and YKW?!, we want to send hugs, kisses, and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the late Elijah Hinnant and Tyreese Worsley. Hopefully this travesty will teach all of us that if you are not a good swimmer, then make sure you stay around the shallow water.

Rest in peace Tyreese and Elijah.
