The wait is almost over you guys. One of the best musical groups of all time, The New Edition, will be front and center in living rooms around the country. Ronnie Devoe, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell, Mike Bivins, Ralph Tresvant, and Johnny Gill all had a hand in sharing their stories to the many fans around the world who supported them from day one. The BET mini series will start tomorrow night and will follow the fellas from the inner city neighborhoods of Boston.

Here’s a small synopsis from online.

The New Edition Story is a 2017 American made for television biographical miniseries broadcast in three parts and two hours directed by Chris Robinson based on the R&Bsupergroup New Edition and their rise to fame. The miniseries stars Algee Smith as Ralph Tresvant, Woody McClain as Bobby Brown, Bryshere Gray as Michael Bivins, Elijah Kelley as Ricky Bell, Keith Powers as Ronnie DeVoe and Luke James as the sixth member Johnny Gill. The miniseries also stars Wood Harris as the group’s manager Brooke Payne; Tank as music executive Jheryl Busby; Michael Rapaport as the group’s second manager Gary. The miniseries also stars Monica Calhoun, La La Anthony, Yvette Nicole Brown among others.
